Description : 1856 is part of 18xx series of train and stock market games. This time players are based in Eastern Canada and seek to make the most amount of money possible by buying and selling stock of rail companies.

1856 uses a simple hexagonal system for the board where track tiles can be placed by the majority shareholder of each company. 1856 includes the formation of the Canadian National Railroad and government loans from the Government of Canada as well as additional railroad obstacles.
