Theme: Finca is a board game set in Mallorca, island of the wind. Here, the fruits of the land are just beginning to give forth, from almonds to oranges, lemons, figs and olives among others.
Here in Mallorca, the wind is never far away. Your windmill will dictate the route you take to deliver your fruits today, as you work around the ever blowing wind. Can you deliver all your fruits and make it home (your finca) more prosperous than your neighbors?
Gameplay : The gameboard of Finca shows the Mediterranean island of Mallorca where players attempt to grow their crops of fruits and deliver them from their various orchards throughout the island.
Movement in Finca revolves around the wind and the windmills. Players move their farmers (ranging from 3 to 5) on the windmill, moving the number of space on the windmill equaling the number of farmers on their current space. They then draw a number of resources equal to the number of farmers of the landing space. However, to deliver and score points in Finca, you'll need a donkey.
In Finca, planning your movement and those of your opponents on the windmill will aid in your success, but planning for the needs of each region is just as important as each region has different demands.
Finca's a game suitable for both beginners and experienced board gamers that will enjoy the easy to learn rules but depth of strategy involved.
