Anno 1503

Theme: In Anno 1503, players are colonists of the new world attempting to make their colony grow faster. With multiple winning conditions and a resource gathering and development system much like Settlers of Catan, Klaus Teuber's Anno 1503 is sure to be as enjoyable.

Gameplay: In Anno 1503; each turn, a die is rolled and compared to the values on each player’s Settlement board. Different players will receive different resources, based on the roll, due to differing board layouts. There are six different resources; Stone, Lumber, Tools, Cloth, Spice, and Tobacco (although the last two are not available until later in the game).

These resource cards are traded in for various things, all of which are compiled on a trade chart on the player’s board.

In addition, in Anno 1503, if a six is rolled, an Event happens which can range from Pirate Attacks to Fires to Good Fortune events.

The first player to meet three of the five possible victory conditions wins the game.
