Arkham Horror: Kingsport Horror

Theme : Arkham Horror: Kingsport Horror is a new big-box expansion for Arkham Horror. The Ancient Ones return to Massachusetts and this time they are unleashing their monsters on Kingsport, a new town close to the original city of Arkham. You will get additional this time though, as new investigators join the fight for sanity and the world.

Gameplay : Kingsport Horror is a large box expansion to the base Arkham Horror game and adds a host of new cards including investigators, items, spells and skills. Included as well is the new city of Kingsport on it's own board.

In addition to interesting new Ancient Ones, characters, items and events, Kingsport Horror adds Guardians and Heralds to the game (as per the King in Yellow expansion) and water tiles where encounters may occur.

Major changes that occur because of the Kingsport Horror expansion include a new Final Battle card deck that increase the thematic component of Arkham Horror as well as the interest in the actual battle. Also, the addition of moving 'Rifts' which are gates that must be closed add a new series of challenges for the Investigators.

Overall, Kingsport Horror is a great big box expansion to be added to the game, adding a variety of items and rules from previous expansions and new variants to the game that add even more to the overall theme.
