Product Description

Theme: Ascension : Chronicles of the Godslayer tells the story of a great battle in and around the glorious human kingdom of Vigil, and the rise of one brave mortal (you, the Godslayer!) from anonymity to fame as humanity’s greatest champion. Recruit allies and heroes to you side, find great constructs and do battle with monstrous creatures to make your name in Ascension : Chronicles of the Godslayer.

Gameplay : Ascension : Chronicles of the Godslayer is a fast paced deck-building game designed by Magic™ Pro Tour champions Justin Gary, Rob Dougherty, and Brian Kibler.

In Ascension : the Chronicles of the Godslayer, players start the game all with a similar deck of Apprentices and Militia. They then proceed to build their decks by purchasing using 'Runes' from the six revealed cards that are drawn from a central deck. Once a card is purchased, a new card is drawn to replace it, allowing for a constantly evolving number of cards and options.

In addition, Ascension : the Chronicles of the Godslayer introduces permanent upgrades called Constructs that stay in-play once purchased and played from the hand. These Constructs include buffs and weapons

Victory points in Ascension are gained by defeating monsters with a power resource featured on several of the cards.
