Product Description

Theme: In Assyria, players return to the birthplace of civilisation in the Mesopotamian Valley. Players lead their tribes through the three ages of civilisation, attempting t develop their tribes through the careful location of food and wells. Wll you be the most successful tribe leader in Assyria?

Gameplya: In Assyria, the goal of each tribe is to survive by gathering food and by scoring points through building wells and ziggurats and dignitaries. Assyria spans over three reigns where floods occur between each reign, destroying villages in the flood plain lands.

In Assyria, each village can either supply food, camels or both. As such, during each turn after removing any unfed huts, players use their camels to perform actions, all of which give the player the chance to earn points at the end of the turn or end of the game. The actions include building or developing ziggurats, vying for favour with the dignitaries, buying one of the remaining food cards, and so on.
