Product Description
Theme: Atlantis the board game is set as the fabled city of Atlantis sinks into the sea. Players are fleeing Atlanteans, attempting to make it to shore before their legendary Utopian city falls under the waves. Can you get your family to shore first or will they be lost to the sea?
Gameplay: Atlantis is a family board game where players play on a modular game board composed of tiles representing the 'land' spaces available.
Players draw cards into their hand and play these coloured cards to move their family figures. Each card moves a figure to the nearest coloured tile of the same type, allowing players to 'jump' their pieces forward across large gaps.
Once they've left a tile in Atlantis, they may then pick up the tile they have left, replacing it with a new tile (if more than one was on the same spot) or a water tile. Water gaps must be crossed by paying for it in victory points (as represented by the tiles collected) or crossed using the single bridge that each player is provided.
The first player to reach the end of the game with all his pawns ends the game. However, it's the player with the most number of points who wins so players need to balance finishing the game with drawing the most points in Atlantis.
