Theme : It's Spring 1942, The World is at War! In Axis & Allies 1942, the five world powers struggle for supremacy: Germany and Japan are aligned against England, the Soviet Union, and the USA.
In Axis and Allies 1942, you control the military and economic strategy and goals of one of these countries in the greatest war we have ever seen.
Axis & Allies 1942 was re-designed and re-developed by Larry Harris. The revised wargame uses the updated rules from the highly successful A&A Anniversary Edition. Cruiser class ships make their debut in A&A 1942 as well as newly scuplted playing pieces and new packaging.
Gameplay: Major rule changes in Axis & Allies 1942 include the wining condition from capturing the enemies factions capital to victory points gained from capturing and controlling 9 or 12 total cities (depending on which victory option is decided).
Additionally money is tracked on a table and there is no special weapon development involved. Lastly, faction income is determined through territories IPC.
