Theme : Battle Line is a card game of ancient battles. Battle Line plays like rummy or poker and is easy to learn and has a great depth of strategy and continues to be an extremely popular 2 player card game.
Gameplay : In Battle Line, the leaders of both sides direct forces along the "battle line" to gain tactical advantages. The first player to win three adjacent Flags or any five Flags out of nine is the winner. To win a flag, players must have the highest 'formation' of 3 cards in that location.
Based on Reiner Knizia's original design published in Germany as Schotten-Totten, Battle Line enhances and expands the game with more options and fun.
