Caesar and Cleopatra

Theme : Caesar and Cleopatra takes place in 48BC Egypt, with players taking on the roles of Caesar and Cleopatra in their struggle for control of Egypt. In Caesar and Cleopatra, players struggle for control of the patricians who will decide the eventual ruler of Egypt, bidding on their loyalty in this exciting game of political intrigue. Additional event cards allows players to even out the odds from spies, assassinations and even the Philosopher Card that can upset even the best made plans. An award winning 2 player game, Caesar and Cleopatra pits players in a struggle for Ancient Egypt over and over again.

Gameplay : In Caesar & Cleopatra, players are attempting to gain control fo the eight patricians of Egypt. Each turn, players take turns laying influence cards (1 face down or 2 face-up) on patricians, either awaiting a vote to be called or when the 8th card is played.

Action cards increase the strategy required in this game, with multiple options such as spies, assassins, scouts and veto's to increase the replay value. Additionally, as cards must be discarded each time a patrician is won, strategies on what cards to play are more complicated than laying the highest influence card down.

Caesar & Cleopatra is a light influence card game that draws upon luck and strategy in equal measure, forcing players to consider their options each turn.
