Theme: Caligula the board game is set in 41 A.D. during the reign of the mad, depraved emperor Caligula. He has gone too far at last, and it's time to dispose of him. Do you have the savvy to navigate the treacherous politics of the Eternal City? Or will your rivals leave you banished from the halls of power?
Gameplay: In Caligula the board game, players are Senate members working to assassinate the third Roman Emperor. You will bid on five main decks to gain control and ability to draw from the two main decks of the game - the Conspiracy and Pugio (Assassination) decks.
At this point, the alliances and partnerships will begin, as players attempt to kill the current Emperor and replace it with their own. Whilst the Emperor is alive, the player in control of him will gain Victory Points.
Caligula is a game of backstabbing, politics, card drafting all based on a quick set-up decks of cards.
