Product Description
Theme : In the Princess & the Dragon, a dragon has come calling in this expansion of the Carcassonne universe. It's up to the good fairy and the Princess to save the townspeople from the dragon and make it right.
Gameplay : In Carcassonne: the Princess & the Dragon, the players must watch out for the meeple (follower) munching Dragon who gets to move very regularly (and far!). Players take turns moving the Dragon when activated, but meeples can only be protected by the Fairy. Adding further complexity to the game, control of the Fairy at the beginning of the turn adds a point for the player, which makes it an extremely powerful piece. Meanwhile the Princess is another meeple destroying addition to the game, though luckily, she's only playable in cities.
As always, Carcassonne's expansions change the strategy in the game, forcing a more offensive and interactive game compared to the base game. As an expansion, the Princess & the Dragon must be played with the original Carcassonne game.
