Product Description

Theme : In Carcassonne, you are a explorer leading a band of followers through the land surrounding the town of Carcassonne, located in the south of France. Each turn you will reveal a new randomly selected tile in your explorations, discovering cities, roads, monasteries and fields. Each feature revealed allows you the opportunity to gain control over the feature in Carcassonne. Complete exploring each new feature to win control of it and lay final claim to the land around the city of Carcassonne.

Gameplay : Carcassonne introduced its award winning formula of tile-placement followed by follower placement in this family favorite board game. Each turn, players must carefully choose where to place their tiles to develop features in the land and make full use of their followers.

With a limited number of followers (5), players must decide to complete features to retrieve their followers or to continue expanding the features, but with the potential of their features being 'stolen' by others.

In Carcassonne, the larger the feature completed, the higher number of points scored and the winner is the player with the most number of points when the tiles have run out.
