Theme : Blokus is one of the greatest interactive puzzle games ever created. An abstract puzzle game, players are provided multi-shaped coloured pieces that players must place on the board. Gameplay : Gameplay in Blokus is very simple and quick to learn. Players begin with a series of multi-shaped pieces in their own colour. They must then place a piece so that it diagonally touching one of your own but has not adjacent connections. The goal of the game is to place as many of your pieces as possible - the player with the least number of squares on his remaining pieces wins.

In a two-player game in Blokus, players manage two colours. In a three player game, players manage their own colour while taking turns to place the third colour.

While an extremely simple game to learn and play, the myriad complexities of placement and multi-shaped pieces makes this a game that will hit the table repeatedly. Blokus furthermore has such an abstract theme that it is unlikely to discourage new players, making it a perfect introductory game to the world of board games.
