Theme : In Mykerinos, players are archeologists' in 1899 as the secret treasures of Egypt are finally opened. The search is on to fill the rooms of the famous Museums, but no archeologist can go it alone without a patron.
Gameplay : Mykerinos compacts a heavy, superbly balanced game into a short, hour time frame. Players use a variety of common techniques in games - area control, hand management - to develop new digs, gain the patronage of individuals in England and finally, book rooms in the Museum. Play continues for 4 rounds, each round being a series of quick decisions and moves.
