Product Description

Theme : Commands & Colors: Ancients depicts warfare from 3000 BC to the start of the Dark Ages - 400 AD. You will take on the role of ancient generals and recreate 13 of the most famous ancient battles of history, commanding generals throughout the ages using Richard Borg's easy to learn combat system.

Gameplay: Command & Colors Ancients is Richard Borg's most popular wargame, using his command card system.

In Command & Colors : Ancients, 15 battles of varying sizes are potrayed, focusing on important terrain features and historical forces.

The command card system details movement and actionsl with four types being in-play: Leadership, Section, Troop and Tactic cards. Through the play of these cards during the game (normally one per turn); players will send their troops across the board to meet their opponent.

Battles are resolved through combat dice, each combat dice having a symbol of the various unit types and 'shields' to protect the attacked units.

Fast, easy to learn and with most scenarios finishing in less than an hour, Command & Colors provides players a lot of replay value and a taste of the battles of ancient times.
