Product Description
Theme : Container is a game of business - in particular, big ships and big production runs. As a player, you'll be both producing, shipping and buying goods for a remote island. In a twist, you'll also be able to ship your opponents products as well, which is important as you'll need to bid and win products for points at the end of the game.
Gameplay : Container is a business game that deals with the full supply chain from manufacturing to warehousing to shipping. Players begin the game with the ability to produce one good. Goods however can only be bought by other players to be stored in their warehouses, which can only be purchased by other players to ship As such, Container is very 'player based', modeling the economy on the decisions and actions of other players.
While strategies are possible within the game, because of the continual changes in the market economy, players must adjust these strategies on a turn by turn basis, altering the prices of goods to reflect the economy and the amount of funds flowing through the game, including the loans that are 'draining' the economy.
An interesting game for business oriented individuals, Container does require at least a few gameplays to grasp it's full intricacies.
