Theme : Corsari puts players in the role of the pirate captains searching the docks for a crew fit to sail with. Players need to scour the ports and docks, making sure not to include too diverse a crew to reduce the number of fights while adding prisoners to the mix for bonus points.
Gameplay : Corsari plays a lot like Gin Rummy, but instead of sets and runs, players are attempting to put together a pirate crew. There are ten groups in the deck, and players must strive not to have more than two groups in their ship while not replicating numbers (ranging from 1 to 11) either. Additionally, there is a 3rd colour card that will not count against you. Problem is, this third colour changes on an on-going basis as the game continues.
