Darjeeling

Theme : Darjeeling is a game of tea. Players are tea merchants moving through the famous tea plantations around the modern city of Darjeeling, collecting various tea varieties to ship for funds. You will need to balance both the types of teas you purchase as well as the demand for specialised teas in this business themed game of tea shipments.

Gameplay : Darjeeling is a game of set-collection with an interesting series of victory point conditions. Darjeeling is played on two main boards, with the first board representing crates of teas in four (4) varieties and the second the tea shipment board.

Players must collect together crates of tea, with victory points earned for full containers of tea as well as different varieties of tea being shipped out. And most importantly, tea shipments in Darjeeling play out over a series of turns on the second board - with shipments at the 'top' of the board paying out constant Victory Points. This creates a need to continually ship as otherwise, players can benefit from having the latest shipment of teas constantly, a reflection of demand for a scarce commodity.
