Theme : Descent: The Well of Darkness is the first expansion of the popular dungeon-crawling board game of Descent: Journeys in the Dark. The Well of Darkness expansion includes over 30 new plastic miniatures featuring 6 new heroes, tricky kobolds, bloodsucking ferrox, and unstoppable golems.
Gameplay : In Descent: Well of Darkness, you will find more skills and treasures including 6 relics and a new type of potion. Included in the skills and treasures are more ranged weaponry, more unique skills and a new 'Power' potion.
The Overlord on the other hand gins 3 new heroes and more cards. As well, the Overlord can now customise the deck to his own play style before each game, allowing him even more options than ever. More spawn cards, more new events and powers and even deadlier traps all await the heroes in this new expansion.
Descent: The Well of Darkness also introduces new rules for lava and mud, as well as two new lingering effects - bleeding and dazed. Also included are nine (9) new quests for the heroes to face. With even more monsters, items and quests, this is the expansion to take Descent to the next level.
