Product Description
Theme : Diplomacy is the classic game of empire buildings. Players begin the game at the turn of the 20th century just before the start of World War I as one of seven European Powers engaged in a struggle for supremacy.
In Diplomacy, alliances are formed and trust is betrayed as players negotiate and outwit one another in a delicate balance of cooperation and competition to gain dominance of the continent. Diplomacy challenges players to rely on their own cunning and cleverness, not dice, to determine the outcome of this classic board game of conspiracies and conquest.
Gameplay : Diplomacy is a game of extremely simple game mechanics but complex interpersonal interaction. In Diplomacy, players must work together and competitively to gain control of various territories. Each turn, players have a set time limit to negotiate with other players the joint movement of their naval and land units in an attempt to gain dominant control over a region. Once the time limit is up for each turn, players must then move their units as agreed upon to gain control using a set of simple, but detailed rules. With no dice at all, Diplomacy is a game of trust, treachery and diplomacy.
