Description : In Dominion : Intrigue, each player starts with an identical, very small deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards the players can "buy" as they can afford them.
Dominion: Intrigue adds rules for playing with up to 8 players at two tables or for playing a single game with up to 6 players. Dominion : Intrigue adds 25 new Kingdom cards and a complete set of Treasure and Victory cards.
Dominion : Intrigue is a stand-alone game and can also be played as an expansion of the basic game of Dominion.
Gameplay: Dominion : Intrigue plays very similar to Dominion, both having the same rule set. Each game, player start with 10 Kingdom cards and the remainder Estate and Gold cards. This allows players to alter the game easily through replacement of any of the Kingdom cards from game to game.
In comparison to Dominion; Dominion : Intrigue provides additional new cards that focus more on direct interaction between players, adds slightly more strategic games and more complex choices during hand management as cards can play across multiple rounds.
As such, Dominion : Intrigue is perfect for those players who found the initial Dominion card game somewhat stilted and lacking in interaction.
