Theme : Dragon Land is in danger. The volcanoes where the dragons hide their treasure are erupting and the dragons need help in moving their treasure to new lands. They have enlisted the various races of the land to help them out, and each group is striving to collect the most of each treasure to gain the favour of the dragons.
Gameplay : Dragon Land is a roll and move game. Players have three characters, each of which can only pick up one type of item - gems, dragon eggs and magic tokens. However, there are only two dice, each of which can only move one piece, so it forces some interesting decisions.
Furthermore, Dragon Land has some interesting scoring as all Reiner Knizai's games do. In this case, additional points are scored for sets and diamonds can be used as 'wild' items. Additionally, magic rings must be collected or the gems are discarded before scoring.
Overall, with the high quality components and beautiful artwork, Dragon Land is both a sight to behold and play.
