Theme : Things are going bad in the neighborhood. Lawn gnomes are being broken, tools aren't being returned and the sniping by neighbors is getting out of hand. Will you come out on top of this escalating battle?
Gameplay : In Escalation, players work to not pick up cards. Each card has a value, and rounds begin with card (or a set of cards) being played with a specific value. Players in turn must beat the value or else be forced to take the stack. Additional special cards like the 'neighborhood watch' are also included. At the end of the game, the player with the least value in the cards they have taken is the winner.
