Theme : In 3000 B.C. the fertile land between the rivers Euphrates & Tigris would give birth to the forerunners of civilization. Kingdoms would grow, mature and die, struggling for dominance. Now it's your turn to take over the ruling of these kingdoms in an attempt to place your mark on history.
Gameplay : Euphrates & Tigris is the card game conversion of the classic Reiner Knizai Tigris & Euphrates game. Players play cards around a base 'Treasure card' to develop the treasures into kingdoms. Kingdoms can be developed vertically (to grow organically) or horizontally (to join with other kingdoms). When two kingdoms from opposing players meet, wars erupt and can be entirely devastating to both sides. The careful use of cards and leaders to gain victory points is required in this elegant strategy card game.
