Theme : In Exalted: War of the Throne, you are one of the Dragon Blooded seeking to claim the throne of the Scarlett Empress. You must gather your allies, your money and your resources to do battle against other players and claim the throne for yourself.
Gameplay : Exalted : War of the Throne is a war game where players must manage their resources and their abilities to full effect. There are three victory conditions in Exalted - land, sea and magical victories respectively that offer the game additional spice.
Each player has a different aspect for their characters, linked to the elements (i.e. Water, Fire, Air, etc.) which provide their characters specific advantages that can be used throughout the game.
Each turn begins with a Draw Phase to pull cards into hand, then a Supply Phase where players pay their troops, an Action Phase where combat and movement reigns and a Treasury Phase where additional Jade is acquired.
