Theme : Frontiers a science-fiction strategy game of the battlefield. You'll be in command of your forces, using futuristic weaponry like orbital bombardments, uranium rounds and short-ranged missiles to come out victorious against the hated enemy. Take on the role of either the totalitarian Terran forces or the beleaguered alien civilisations.
Gameplay : Frontiers is exactly what it says it will be - a light, miniature-less war game. The rules are easy to learn, with movement using rules provided and all combat resolved using a d6.
Both sides of the battle seem to be evenly matched, with the Terrans with more individual infantry units and the Zirians with their massive, alien tanks.
Fast, fun and exciting, Frontiers allows for multiple builds to allow for customised armies and customised battles.
