Theme : Gloom : Unwelcome Guests is the second expansion to the Gloom card game and can be played alone or in combination with the previous expansion, Unhappy Homes.
In Unwelcome Guests, players add a new mob - the malodorous Malone mob - and Unwelcome Guests, 5 new Guests who have a tendency to visit the families without permission at any time.
Gameplay : In Gloom : Unwelcome Guests, the Malone's are added as an additional family along with a residence card (for use with the previous expansion). Additionally, new events and untimely deaths occur.
The Unwelcome Guests, the main focus of this expansion are played into the central board. Each guest can be triggered by specific events on cards, which will bring the guest, with all their modifiers to join that family. These guests will then stay till a new trigger event occurs, providing even more harassment to a family and even more strategic options.
