Product Description

Theme: Homesteaders is in the American West when the Homestead Act of 1862 created a rush of Americans traveling out West to claim land for their families. Through the Transcontintal Railroad, the homesteaders would spread and create the largest land rush ever known as Americans attempted to settle and farm their lands for 5 years to ensure ownership. It's a tough life out there though, so only the hardiest and most successful homesteaders will prosper.

This is the 2nd Edition for Homesteaders

Gameplay: Homesteaders is an Auction and Resource Management board game where players bid on various building types to gain the ability to build those buildings. Each building will provide the player with different abilities, income, and points - some automatically and some requiring the use of a homesteader.

Homesteaders lasts 10 rounds with every round broken into the Setup, Auction, Building and Income Phases.

Players can score through and for their buildings as well as points earned in-game through the sale of resources. With multiple building types and upgrades dependent upon each building, Homesteaders will be won by the player who builds and manages his buildings and resources the best.
