Product Description
Theme : Kill Dr. Lucky is now available in a full, deluxe edition. The best selling game ever from CheapAss games, Kill Dr. Lucky puts you in play just before 'Clue' starts, striving to be the one who murders the Doctor.
A game of 3 to 7 players. players move to catch up with the Doctor and kill him but the Doctor's really, really lucky thanks to the help of your fellow players. A game of puzzles and satire, Kill Dr. Lucky is definitely for those who have a twisted sense of humor.
This is the latest edition and includes the Little Dog Expansion
Gameplay : In Kill Dr. Lucky, players begin the game attempting to kill the good Doctor. Each turn, players move from room to room on the board using move cards and room cards. They also gain a free single-space movement. Both Move and Room cards may be played on themselves or the Doctor, allowing them to move themselves or Dr. Lucky to gain 'line-of-sight' on Dr. Lucky.
If a player has line-of-sight on the Doctor and no one has line-of-sight on them, they may attempt to murder Dr. Lucky. They do so by playing a "Weapons" card that will have an attack value and any "Spite" tokens. At this point, other players take turns to play "Failure" cards for the Doctor to allow him to escape the gruesome death that awaits him. In addition, Spite tokens may be used to help the Doctor escape his death. If the Doctor does not die, all Spite tokens are awarded to the player who attempted to kill the Doctor and an additional spite token is given to him. Once this is over, the player's turn ends and the next player turn begins.
As Doctor Lucky moves from room to room on a set pattern (in ascending order for each numbered room), players can recognise the movement of the doctor and attempt to move ahead of him to kill him. However, as players can only regain cards from searching named rooms and not having moved at all, they must consider the best methods to kill the good Doctor.
Players familiar with the original Doctor Lucky will notice the addition of the Spite tokens. These tokens help make the game go faster and alter the strategies in the game slightly as there is now more incentive to attempt to murder the good doctor quickly.
