Theme : Last Night on Earth, The Zombie Game is a survival horror board game where the Heroes go head to head with the Zombies in a effort to survive. Players take on either roles, challenging one another on the modular board and in different scenarios.
Gameplay : Last Night on Earth is a competitive co-operative game where players can take on the roles of two opposing sides - the Heroes or the Zombies.
The game board of Last Night on Earth is made from a square, modular board with a single large 'town field' in the center and a series of different buildings around the periphery.
Players take on the role of either one of the eight townsfolk or the zombies, attempting to complete the various scenarios in time. Scenarios can range from a simple 'kill 20 zombies' to 'Escape the town'.
With movement and combat driven by dice rolls and equipment and special actions via a deck of cards, the gameplay for the heroes in Last Night on Earth is very similar to its predecessor - Zombies!
However, Last Night on Earth has it's own charms including special abilities for each individual hero and multiple scenarios to play.

Let me state that I'm not a huge zombies fan from the start. So the theme for Last Night on Earth just did nothing for me. It's definitely a better game than Zombies!!! with some interesting additional scenarios and the introduction of Zombie and Human te Review by TR (Posted on 12/6/08)
