Theme : It's time to get the pitchforks out! In Lupus in Tabula, players take on the competing roles of villagers or werewolves in an effort to kill enough of the other party to win the game. This large party game is a ton of fun as the werewolves attempt to convince the villagers to murder one of their own while the villagers with the help of the Seer attempt to discover the identity of the werewolves. A game of intrigue, logical thought and manipulation, Lupus in Tabula is a sure-fire party game. This deluxe edition has new roles as well, from the Bodyguard to the WereHamster.
Gameplay : In Lupus in Tabula, players take on the roles of either villagers or werewolves. The number of werewolves depend on the number of players. Each night, the werewolves stalk the villagers, choosing one to prey upon. Each morning, the villagers may extract revenge by hanging one of the townspeople - though they have to be careful to make sure they hang the right person. And the werewolves, hidden in sheep's clothing, will try to convince you to hang the wrong person.
It's not all lost though, for the Bodyguard and the Seer are on the Villager's side, aiding them to battle off the Werewolves. However, the WereHamster has his own agenda, seeking to be the only one alive at the end of the game. It's a game of mass confusion, bluffing, negotiation and deduction that is sure to be a party hit.
