Product Description

Theme: In MegaCorp, you are in control of one of the six enormous conglomerates dominating the economic and political life of the mid-21st century world. As a Megacorp, you dominate industries, manipulate goverments and even wage wars to gain you way. Kleptocracies can steal ownership of your industry, Dictatorships can nationalize an industry to shut you out, and Democracies can buy you out! Become the most prominent and profitable Megacorp to earn your place at the top and win!

Gameplay: MegaCorps is a game of economic domination. Each round, the active player takes the Event card and every player takes an action. Actions for Megacorps range from buying companies or interfering in some way with companies when they have control of the country. They also have the option (once per round) of causing a payout in a company. Which companies are in which country is depicted on the game board in a grid layout. In addition, the different types of governments in each country will affect your ability to influence or control the industries in that country.

Of course, like any good economy based game, Megacorps allows negotiations and deals between players. So you can always get something out of a deal.
