Product Description
Theme : Continuing the WWII theme of Memoir '44, the Mediterranean Theater Expansion lets players control the forces set in Northern Africa at the beginning of the war. Now, you too can command the British and German Forces in the Mediterranean Theater.
Gameplay : This tile-based wargame requires the base Memoir '44 game but can be played with or without the other expansions. The Mediterranean Theater expansion includes a variety of game pieces including terrain tiles, figures, weapons, and new rules. Eight (8) scenarios are included with more to be found at memoir44.com.
Once the pieces for a scenario are laid out on the board, each player moves their forces in an attempt to achieve their side of the scenario objectives. As with the combat system available in Memoir '44, movement is controlled by command cards that each player draws.
Combat is fought with dice rolls and victory is achieved by reaching the target number of medals as set out for the scenario during the battle.
