Theme : Metropolys is a game of architecture and urban-planning. As rival developers, players strive to make the most luxurious and elegant buildings in the teeming metropolis but must struggle against their rival developers. Will you be the one to leave your mark on the city?
Gameplay : In Metropolys, players are urban planners and developers in a quest for prestige. To gain it, players will need to build a series of 13 buildings in three (3) sizes. Each round, players can bid on a location, using the various sizes of the buildings and locations to get the most prestigious locations. With two (2) different goal cards provided to players at the beginning of the game, each player will have his own goals to gain prestige in the Metropolys.
Metropolys comes with 2 rule sets, a 'Family' and 'Expert' rule set. The Family rule allows players to quickly introduce this fast playing game to casual gamers, while the Expert rule set provides for more advanced board game geeks.
