Theme : Munchkin Cthulhu has Steve Jackson and John Kovalic bringing their wicked wit to H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu universe in a bid to level up! With four new classes including the ever desired Cultists and more Stuff than ever to hijack, Munchkin Cthulhu is a whole new stand alone game. Munchkin Cthulhu can always be combined with the other games in the Munchkin series to drive your friends insane.
Gameplay : Munchkin Cthulhu's game play is absurdly simple like the game itself. There are two decks - a Treasure Deck and a Monster/Curse Deck. Each turn, players explore new crazed mansions, drawing a card from the Monster/Curse Deck to see what they encounter. If they find nothing, they can choose to play a monster card from their hand or go looking for trouble (draw a second card from the deck into their hand). Players then compare their character strengths against monsters in battle, aided or harmed by other players and treasures - most often won from the monsters themselves. The first player to level up to 10 wins.
