Theme : Naval battles places you in charge of the fleets in World War II, pitting Axis and Allies naval forces in the most important battle of the war - the battle for the Oceans and the lifeline of Britain and access to the East. It's time to take to the Oceans in this fast paced naval war game.
Gameplay : In Naval Battles, there are two types of cards - ship cards (one for each of the six nations - France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Britain and the US) and action cards. Players choose their respective fleets in the beginning of the game.
Each turn in Naval Battles, players will lay ship cards in one of two 'battle lines' and can also play action cards from their hands. Players will need to understand the various abilities of their ships to place in specific battle lines as well as as holding specific action and ship cards for use later in the game.
Naval battles is a fast paced naval warfare game that requires little set-up time but can be easily expanded to up to 6 players.
