Theme : Odin's Ravens Hugin and Mugin are flying across the land, bringing back Thought and Memory to Odin. Will Thought or Memory make it to Odin first? Only you can tell.
Gameplay : Odin's Ravens is a two player card game where players guide Hugin and Mugin across the land back to Odin. A terrain track with two-terrain featured cards are laid out that the raven's must fly through.
Each turn, players can play a single terrain card from their hand that matches the terrain facing their Raven. If multiple cards have the same terrain, the Raven can cross all of these features in one movement. Additionally, reserve cards can be played that will allow the Raven's to fly further and special 'Odin' cards can may life difficult for your opponent, altering the terrain on them. Lastly, in Odin's Ravens players can continue to add to the terrain track, making it more difficult for their opponents to finish a game.
While quite learn to and play, the multiple decisions players must make and the hand management decisions required make Odin's Raven a sure-fire two player game. With a cute, and interesting theme well supported by the cards, Odin's Ravens continues to be a mainstay two player card game.

Odin's Ravens is a quick-playing (well, mostly - there are exploits to keep the game going on forever) card game. It's interesting for the themes and can be taught really quickly, with some variation in game-to-game. Good for introducing to beginners and Review by TR (Posted on 12/6/08)
