Theme : Race for the Galaxy : The Brink of War is the third expansion for the popular Race for the Galaxy Card Game. Now, the War draws ever closer in Race for the Galaxy and only Galactic Prestige will allow you to gain the concessions from enemies and aid from allies.
At the same time, the Alien departure point has been found while the Uplift overseers are arise. In the turmoil, can you build the most prosperous and powerful space empire in a galaxy on the brink of total war?
Gameplay: Race for the Galaxy adds new start worlds, goals, game cards, and rules for galactic prestige to Race for the Galaxy and its first two expansions, The Gathering Storm and Rebel vs Imperium. New solitaire game counters and drafting rules for six players are also provided.
Galactic Prestige is the newest game rule, with various powers being activated by prestige; two goals; a special bonus action, and as an additional bonus each turn for being the Prestige Leader. Additionally, a new action card for Prestige and the Imperium Captial is added to Race for the Galaxy : the Brink of War to support the new mechanic.
