PitchCar is a highly addictive game. It is a wickedly fun game that all ages will have a gas playing. It is basically a racing game, but this is NOT a board game.

PitchCar is played by flicking wooden discs around a track. It doesn't sound like much but when you get a group of people together and all start flickin cars you will be killing yourself laughing.

You start the game with a qualifying lap. Everyone gets a chance at doing a lap of the track. The person who does it in the least number of flicks gets the pole position. There are starting positions on the track that you line up in and then it comes down to who ever finishes 2 or 3 laps first. Everyone gets one flick at a time so you can either flick for distance or to block people behind you.

This game is more than worth the large ticket price. The components are made from wood and are super well built. The game comes with a number of track layouts that you can build or you can make your own track. There are plastic guard rails for the corners that skilled flickers will soon master. A good flicker can use the rails to make it around 2 or 3 corners in one flick.

There are a number of expansions for this game that let you introduce new parts to your track. The big thing to keep in mind when buying this game is making sure you have somewhere big enough to play it. You can play it on the floor, but a large dinning room table is by far the best.

With Christmas just around the corner this would be a perfect game for the family. I promise it will be a huge hit with everyone Christmas day. (Posted on 11/25/10)
