TransAmerica is an extremely simple to play and teach route building board game. PLayers each have a single color, and they must build a series of train lines between the goal cities that they receive at the beginning of the game. In the basic game (without Vexation); players can use other players rail lines. With the Vexation expansion, specific rail lines can be placed to block the use.

While a simple game to teach and play, because the information of where the cities are is open; the game fast becomes a guessing game on routes and strategic planning. The player who figures out where all the others must go and the fastest route to build will win every time.

This makes it a great game for introductory gaming, though it can be somewhat boring for more experienced gamers. (Posted on 8/5/10)
