The first time I played Alhambra, my wife and I loved it. Each turn keeps you engaged as properties are sold, and there are meaningful decisions to make throughout. A very balanced, well-thought out game that is fun, meaty enough for 60 mins, and, with all the expansions, has the replayability of several different games combined.
