I used to be a big fan of Warhammer miniatures when I was younger so I picked this LCG up without hesitation. Needless to say, I am thoroughly satisfied. As an LCG, you get your money's worth since you do not have to shell out tons of money to get a good game going with your friends. Artworks in the game are fantastic (great quality) and I really like the overall tactical elements in the game (though they are nothing innovative) as well.

I would argue one down side to this game is that there is no official rule guiding how to play this game multiplayer. There are six factions in total and it would be wicked to get 2v2 or 3v3 going but this set is meant for 1v1. (that did not stop me& some buddies to get a free-for-all going).

So if you like LCGs (or CCGs) or Warhammer fantasy in general, get this game. (Posted on 3/16/12)

In warhammer Invasion you play one of four race in the box. Each race comes with a capitol board and a deck of 50 cards, which contains units, building and various spells. During play you must spend resources to place your card in one of three zone of you board. One of the zone allow you to attack the other players zone, another grants more resources and the last allow you to get more cards. The game ends when one of the two players as two of his three zones destroyed or when one of the players runs out of cards.

This game is not just another card game, it is highly strategic and truly addictive. I recommend to fans of dueling card games such as Summoner wars. Plus they are a lot of expansion to customize your on decks and playing experience.

Picked this up at my local shop for 49 forgot to check on here first :(
But BOY was it worth it!!
I played with my Dad and sister for hours! Mind you it is only a 2 player game.
Its simple to learn and each deck is very different to play.
Im going to pick up the expansion decks soon
