Caesar & Cleopatra is a light 2 player game with a touch of humour and randomness sown throughout the game. It has shades of many other Euros in its hand management mechanics (bringing Battle Line to mind) but the randomness of voting makes the game feel much 'lighter' than Battle Line.

In addition, the numerous tactic cards available make it feel much more random, with the players able to swing the votes one way or the other quite easily. It makes the game much lighter, with play going quite fast each round and keeping players engaged towards the end.

Overall, Caesar & Cleopatra is great as a light 2 player game, not necessarily an intensely strategic one though. (Posted on 4/8/09)
