- LIke Tetris, but not as good Review by Douglas

In this game you are trying to slide pieces down and cover up certain spots or leave them uncovered. When I purchased this game I expected "Tetris the Board Game". It is close but there are some problems. The shapes are made out of five blocks and not four, which is fine. The major issue is that the rules are not completely clear on when the game stops and the difficulty is very high, often in the negative scoring range. I would recommend Blokus over this game as it has similar game mechanics. (Posted on 3/5/12)Price Value Quality - Boardgame tetris sounds silly but this is great Review by Murray

I really like this game for whatever reason. It's pretty much a solitaire game, but you can trash talk your opponents if you want.Price Value Quality
There are four stages to the game with different goals in each. The first stage you score points for completing rows, the second stage you score points for leaving point sections uncovered, the third stage is similar to stage 2 but with negative point sections included into the mix, the fourth stage involves either leaving a pair of symbols uncovered or covering both. In all stages, leaving normal sections uncovered will subtract from your score.
Every player gets a different starting piece so that their own build is different than the rest. They will all eventually use every piece in the stage. It's a fun and fast puzzle solving game. There are official and fan made expansions that are free to download and print out for the game as well, which adds to the replay value. Basically a card is turned over each turn and every player must slide the piece indicated on the card down their board. There are various boards with different goals and bonuses, but the goal of the basic board is to try your best to cover the board perfectly, leaving no gaps.
Unfortunately, unlike Tetris, you cannot slide pieces sideways after they touch down. It's amazing to see everyone's strategies and how different the board can look even just a few pieces in.
Overall, Fits is simple and enjoyable. It's a great time filler and warm up game, great for casual gamers. (Posted on 11/24/10)
