Fjords is a neat little tile laying game for two that plays fairly quickly. Small and short are excellent descriptors of the game as there always seems to be not enough tiles for a satisfying game.

This is especially true for Carcassonne lovers, but it`s not a bad thing as it makes each turn more important and encourages multiple games. This is a good gateway game to introduce impatient people to board games. It also makes for a good filler game or side game when you don`t have the time to play something longer. (Posted on 12/10/09)
