This dice tower is pretty cool, since it's see-through. There is some decent dice action and you should be able to fit most regular sized dice. A jumbo dice will not be able to fit, however.

In terms of portability, you can take the dice tower apart fairly easily and put it back together without the instructions. Apart, you can fit the pieces into any of your game boxes, making it great for travelling. The pieces lock in pretty tight, however, and I'm constantly scared that I might break it whenever I take it apart.

The tower, being made of plastic, is pretty noisy. I glued some pieces of felt on the baffles to dampen the sound a bit. Noise is a persistent problem with most dice towers anyways, so it's not a big deal.

The only true disappointing thing about the dice boot is the lack of a base plate. You'll need to set the tower flat on a table and the table will act as the base. There are pros and cons with this, as you can just lift the boot to easily grab the dice, but my preference is to have a base.

Overall, this is decent dice tower and i would not hesitate to recommend it. (Posted on 5/21/10)
