- Very enjoyable game! Review by Gerry & Michelle

Killer Bunnies is such a great game, no matter how many people are playing or how old they are, its an enjoyable pass time. The fun stress of keeping your bunnies alive, collecting water and cabbage cards, budgeting Kaballa Dollas and playing weapon, special, and very special cards in strategic moves is entertaining. Yes there is luck involved in a game when it comes down to collecting carrots and getting the winning carrot, but that always makes the game mysterious and enjoyable as anyone can win! The expansions make it more insane! The art work you will enjoy and the card stock is very good quality. 2 thumbs up! (Posted on 1/24/12)Price Value Quality - Quite a fun game. Review by KR

Killer Bunnies seems to be a hit or miss with some people. I personally quite enjoy this game and always tend to have a great time playing it. I've played with just two people and I've played it with 6 people before and all times were quite enjoyable, although the more people playing, the crazier the game can get.Price Value Quality
The cards themselves are nice and thick which adds durability; however it does make them more difficult to shuffle. Although I would much rather have better quality cards over easier shuffling abilities.
As for how the game ends...I'm quite torn. Throughout the game you are trying to collect carrots (there are 12 in total) and once all the carrots have been collected you reveal the one carrot which is the winning carrot for that game. So you could have been playing poorly the entire game and only collected 1 carrot and you could still win the game. In a way I like how it makes even the worst player still have a bit of hope; however on the other hand that can be quite frustrating if you've monopolized the game to end up losing at the end.
Overall I think this is a great game and recommend it to anyone who likes a casual, fun and often odd game. (Posted on 10/18/11) - Zany fun at its best Review by Brian

This game is fun especially if you like colorful cards and wacky outcomes.Price Value Quality
The good of the game comes about when you are playing cards collecting your cards killing other player’s bunnies and playing wacky cards to roll dice for combinations.
The bad sometimes there are situations where you can’t play cards and are stuck not doing much for a couple turns and the end of the game winner is determined randomly kind of like a lottery. If you like zany card play and rolling dice and a bit of a random factor in your game that has the versatility to be played as a family game or not. I highly recommend Killer bunnies. At one point in time, I bought 5 copies of this game to give away to my son's friends. He loved the sick, but clean, humor. (In my mind, killing an opponent's bunny with the ebola virus or a kitchen whisk isn't as "violent" as shooting his head off. That might come in different versions.) But this game quickly lost any fun factor for me. I will still play when my kids beg me, but they rarely do anymore. More often than not, the game turns into a fight over "why are you picking on me?" There are plenty of different kinds of cards to keep the game fresh and plenty of expansions that do the same. But I won't be investing in the game anymore myself. I got a chance to try out Killer Bunnies at the Starlit Citadels 2nd year anniversary event. Being familiar with Munchkin, another card-based game that is known for humour, I approached the game with some expectations. Unfortunately, the game did not quite meet those expectations.Price Value Quality
First is the actual goal of the game itself. The point of the game is to collect Magic Carrots. There are 12 different kinds and are numbered thus. At the end of the game, one number is revealed and whoever holds the carrot with that number is the winner.
This means that the game could be over within a few minutes but you would not know until the end of the game. Alternatively, it could also mean that a person with the vast majority of Magic Carrots would lose. While this would help newer players win, it by all means does not improve the game since it is completely luck based.
Another major complaint is that the humour in the game is a bit bland, especially when compared to Munchkin. The game would benefit greatly from some minor descriptive text on cards.
Finally, the graphics on the cards did not lend themselves access to casual gamers. My fiancee did not like the look of the majority of the cards and probably would never play the game again because of it. Similar reasoning has been applied to Hive.
Killer Bunnies fit into a particular niche of gamers. It may be perfect for a specific group of players, but more often than not it is not very enjoyable. Definitely, if you are planning on getting this, play test the game with a few friends first and see if you like it. Killer Bunnies is a card game with an amusing theme that revolves around killing bunnies and collecting magic carrots. The humour and simple game play are what make this game appealing but the large amounts of luck and lack of strategy within the game should keep the hardcore gamers away. The game is printed on large glossy cards that feel a little cheap and can be a hassle to shuffle. However, the cartoony art work does fit the theme nicely.Price Value Quality
There are a lot of different cards and rules to learn but after one or two plays everyone should be familiar with the deck. The fun aspect of the game comes from destroying other players bunnies in amusing ways. Weapons ranging from a kitchen whisk to the Ebola virus can be used to do the killing (by forcing a player to roll dice for the lives of their bunny), as well as starvation and the occasional terrible misfortune (like getting run over by a truck). There are also defense and barrier cards and even a magic spatula to protect your bunnies, along with a whole bunch of other crazy cards to have fun with. However, the real objective of the game is to collect as many magic carrots (12 total) as possible in order to have the best chance at winning. Here in lies the game’s biggest flaw. The winner is completely random! Everything you’ve done in the game so far doesn’t matter anymore. The game ends when the last carrot is purchased and then the magic carrot will be revealed (randomly chosen at the start) and whoever holds that carrot wins the game. Some may see this as a good thing since everyone has a chance of winning in the end, but I feel most gamers would rather be rewarded for their game play decisions and not simply rely on luck for the outcome.
This game can be enjoyable as long as you don’t mind all the elements of luck involved and are simply playing for fun. Otherwise I recommend avoiding it (there are better card games out there like Bang! or Citadels).
