The game of being ridiculous!Price Value Quality
And as for the rules, I love owning the games, cause when it's ambiguous, I win! However, we did spend 30 minutes of one game on the official website looking up something. I don't remember what it was, but my logic was right. =) (Posted on 2/28/12) - A silly game for fantastic fun Review by Murray

The Munchkin series all basically feature the same game with different themes. However, each set has its own noteworthy jokes and puns and maybe even an interesting twist to the rules (which are usually written in a vague manner in order to encourage more munchkinly interpretations thereof).Price Value Quality
In this game, players are all members of an adventuring party. On their turn, each player kicks down a door (turn over a door card), resolve it, hopefully fighting a monster along the way, and collect loot in the form of a treasure card or another door card. If they successfully defeat a monster, the player gains a level and the first player to get to level 10 wins. Along the way, players can amass a huge number of items to help them in battles and to "help" their fellow players. These items can be traded as bribes to other players to have them help you in battle or sold for levels. There are traps and curses as well that can cause you to lose your items or a level, as well if you fail to defeat a monster (or a group of monsters) and fail to run away, then bad things will happen that can cause the same effect of item/level loss.
Munchkin Bites features Vampires and Werewolves as races, making it perfect for Twilight fans. Part of the enjoyment of Munchkin is found in the connection between the players and the theme, thus I recommend that people find a theme that appeals to them before buying. An interesting twist added by this game is the Bats monsters that can be added to any battle without a wandering monster card.
The components of Munchkin sets consist of around 170 cards and a single die for escape rolls. The cards are decent quality, but I do recommend sleeves for people who play this game a lot. Players must provide their own way of tracking their levels and I recommend getting a set of Munchkin dice for that. As well, there are many Munchkin-related items that one can buy that can give you an advantage in game, allowing you to gain levels or dodge traps and curses, etc. All this creates a great game experience and really helps to give Munchkin a life and culture of its own.
Unlike the other Munchkin games, however, Munchkin Bites only has races and do not have classes, which can make it a bit odd for mixed set plays as the races are quite powerful. As well, the only distinction between the faces of treasure and door card is a black outline that can be quite hard to see and this can be a pain in the backside when sorting and organizing the cards. I recommend different colour sleeves.
All Munchkin games feature tonnes of humorous anecdotes and the game itself, though sometimes long, is always fun. Be careful however! Some players may harbor bitter feelings towards you as you backstab them on your way to victory and that may come out in future games. I highly recommend this game to anyone with a gaming group. The entire Munchkin series is interesting to me. I'm not too big of a fan of games that actively encourages ruthlessness and backstabbing as they tend to leave a bitter feeling inside of me. However, the drawings on the cards for the Munchkin series are strangely appealing and I love the puns and jokes on the cards.Value Quality Price
My collection has both Munchkin Bites and Munchkin Booty, as I am a fan of Vampires (Twilight anyone?) and Pirates. I would encourage anyone interested in this series to carefully select a theme that appeals to them as that can make or break the experience and enjoyment of the series.
I am not a fan of the rules. They are written informally and tend to be quite confusing. Even now I still don't know if I'm playing the game correctly. I would still recommend this game, however, but only for male game enthusiasts. (Posted on 12/17/08)
