This is a good game to get people warmed up, especially people who aren't gamers. I've used it a few times to gauge if a group will be amenable to playing something more involved. It's fun, easy to learn and can be played with almost any number of people. I would recommend keeping it to six or less players to keep things quick and fun.

Zombie Dice is a push your luck game that involves rolling dice and eating brains. The way the game works is there are 13 dice and each dice has brains, footsteps and shotgun blasts on their sides. On your turn you shake the dice and remove three from the barrel and proceed to roll the dice. You are aiming to get as many brains in your turn before you get shotgun blasts three times. When you roll the three dice you put aside any brains or shotgun blasts, the footprint symbols represent escaped victims. You than take any footprint dice and make a new hand of three dice to keep rolling. You can keep pushing your luck at attempting to get more brains however if you end up getting three shotgun blasts your turn is over and you lose all of your collected brains.

It's a very simple game that is great to bring along anywhere and it accommodates as many players as you want. (Posted on 4/17/12)

This dice game is all about pushing your luck. This game only takes about 10 minutes but is really easy to pick up and play. On the dice there are sides that represent you killing a zombie, a zombie killing you and you running away. You get to keep your turn going for as long as you want to push your luck to rack up more zombie 'kills', but if you get killed you will lose all of your points for that round. I find that this is a great one to bring out to start up a games night. (Posted on 3/6/12)

Zombie Dice is a simple push your luck game where you try to get more brains than your friends before dying. Other than deciding to proceed with your turn, not all dice grant equal odds. You can choose to roll them in any order and some are more likely to give you brains while others are more likely to get you shotgunned.

Between this and Cthulhu Dice (also by Steve Jackson Games), I would prefer Zombie Dice. Both are completely luck based, but there is a semblance of decision making here, which makes it a bit more interesting and worth the price point. (Posted on 9/21/10)
